1. The service

Kindly is a free app with daily quotes (sayings and Bible verses), a Home Screen widget, and an anonymous community for sharing gratitude and affirmations. No sign-up or login is needed: the first time you use the community, an anonymous account with no name or email is created on your device. By using the app you agree to these terms, and before your first post the app asks you to agree to these terms and the community guidelines again.

2. Your content

You are responsible for what you post.
You let Kindly display and deliver your posts within the service, on a non-exclusive, royalty-free basis. This permission ends when you delete the post or your account.
Every post is checked automatically before it is shown and becomes public, visible only to you, or hidden.

3. Not allowed

Posts that demean, hate on or harass a person or group
Sexual content or invitations to meet
Spam, promotion or external links
Personal information such as phone numbers or addresses, yours or anyone else’s
Illegal content or content that helps commit a crime
Content that encourages or glorifies self-harm or suicide
Disrupting the service or getting around checks or restrictions (including using multiple accounts to avoid a restriction)

4. Zero tolerance

Kindly does not tolerate objectionable content or users who post it.

5. Reporting, blocking and action

Use the ⋯ menu on a post to report it or block its author. Posts from blocked users are no longer shown.
We review reported posts within 24 hours and remove them or take other action as needed.
A post reported by several users is taken down immediately, even before we review it.

6. Restrictions

If you break these terms or the community guidelines, we may remove your posts and stop your account from posting. To appeal, email theteamcumulus@gmail.com.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and your posts, reactions, reports and blocks at any time in Settings › Delete account and data. If you’ve already removed the app, see account deletion requests.

8. Quote copyright

Quotes are shown with their author and source. Bible verses are quoted from the Korean Revised Version (개역개정판, © Korean Bible Society) with permission.

9. Liability and changes

Kindly is free, and we are not liable for damages from using it unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.
If we change these terms we will say so in the app and on this page, and ask for your agreement again in the app for significant changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

10. If you’re struggling

You don’t have to go through it alone. In Korea, the suicide prevention line 109 and the mental health crisis line 1577-0199 are available 24 hours a day.
